An analysis of the official engagement schedule shows that King Charles III, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton will be noticeably absent from the royal schedule for the foreseeable future.

In their absence, Princess Anne will assume most of the royal family’s public duties.

Princess will meet around 70% of the company’s public-facing obligations, according to a new study by GoSmokeFree UK health experts published on Wednesday, March 27.

From launch to May 10, Anne is scheduled to undertake 55 of the 78 royal engagements.

It reaffirms her status as the hardest-working royal and underscores the company’s continued reliance on her contributions, especially as both King Charles and Kate face battles with cancer.

The Duchess of Edinburgh is expected to attend 13 events throughout March and April, while Queen Camilla will make just one appearance on behalf of the king on March 28.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Charles will attend the Easter church service in Windsor along with other senior royals, but notable absentees will include Kate and William.

Amid widespread speculation throughout 2024, Kate did not reveal the type of cancer discovered after major abdominal surgery in January.

Likewise, Charles has chosen not to reveal the specific details of his cancer diagnosis, but insiders exclusively reveal connect King is battling pancreatic cancer.
