Royal commentator Richard FitzWilliams suggests that Charles is open to the idea of ​​a reconciliation with his son, but cautions that there may be conditions or complications involved.

“The King has always kept the door open to Harry, but that doesn’t mean he will always receive a warm welcome. It will take time.

Richard told The Sun, “But clearly the situation has changed beyond all expectations in recent weeks. I don’t think it will be too difficult, it depends on how you define reconciliation.”

The royal expert also believes that Harry would like to see his father as much as the king wants to see him. He said: “We know that security in relation to Harry and Meghan and the children will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, so if they wanted to see the King I would find it extraordinary that there would be a problem.”

Meghan has rarely returned to Britain since leaving the royal family. She joined the royal family to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee, but will not return until the queen’s funeral in September 2022.

Harry has previously spoken about his wishes to be reunited with his family and admitted he felt grateful to meet King Charles after he was diagnosed with cancer.
