Kate Middleton sets new example with Princess Charlotte’s birthday

Kate Middleton now seems to be fearless when it comes to breaking the rules, especially when it comes to her children.

The Princess of Wales celebrated her only daughter, Princess Charlotte’s, ninth birthday on Thursday, May 2, with an unseen adorable photo she took herself.

Eager royal watchers have been waiting for an update after Prince William and Kate broke tradition for the sixth birthday of their youngest child, Prince Louis.

This time, the Prince and Princess of Wales once again snubbed the British press. Not only did he share the birthday girl’s photo later in the morning instead of in the morning, but he also shared it exclusively on his social media instead of sending it to the press, as was the norm.

In the shared photo, Charlotte is seen standing in the gardens of Kensington Palace and smiling at the camera.
