DALLAS: Muslims across the United States are praying during Eid-ul-Fitr for the Palestinian people seeking freedom from Israeli oppression and for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

The Muslim community celebrated the auspicious occasion, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, with Eid prayers performed with religious fervor and fervor at hundreds of mosques in Houston, Dallas and other cities in the US state of Texas.

Mufti Dr Abdul Wahid led the Eid prayers at Darul Urum in Houston, while Allama Babar Rahmani led at the Madinah Mosque in Carlton pray.

Large numbers of people, including women and children, attended Eid prayers at Epic Irving, Masjid Valley Ranch, Dar El Eman Arlington and other mosques.

Meanwhile, more than 60 mosques have organized Eid prayers in Deir area alone.

After the prayers, as is tradition, people hug and greet each other. Some people even visit cemeteries to pray at the graves of their loved ones.

All public and private offices and educational institutions in Texas are offering holidays to Muslim employees and students on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

However, Pennsylvania’s Eid celebrations were marred by violence after a shooting at Clara Muhammad Square Park in Philadelphia left several people injured.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when about 1,000 people gathered to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and two groups opened fire on each other.

While there have been no reports of casualties, as many as three people were said to have been injured in the incident, which saw about 30 rounds fired. Fox 29 News the report said.

Meanwhile, police have detained five people and seized five weapons from the scene of the incident.
