To expand the lineup options for customers, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched an updated Discovery Sport model in India. With some notable cosmetic changes both inside and out, the seven-seat SUV has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Interested customers can either reserve the king-sized SUV from authorized showrooms or choose the online option using JLR’s official website.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport update

First of all, talking about the exterior, the company has made some subtle updates in it, making it look more classy, ​​aggressive and attractive than before. It now comes with a piano black front grille, which is complemented by a full LED headlight setup with attractive LED DRLs.

The efforts can also be seen at the rear as it gets new tail lamps, which enhance its overall road presence, and give tough competition to its rivals in the segment. The vehicle rides on 19-inch alloy wheels, which somehow adds another feather to its cap.

Interior and Features

On the inside, the 2024 Discovery Sport is now offered with the company’s updated 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system that supports all wireless car connect technologies including Android, Apple CarPlay and Auto CarPlay.

It has a fully digital instrument cluster, which provides important information to the driver while on the move. Other notable features are a 360-degree camera, a panoramic glass roof, a cabin air purification system, a 3D surround monitoring system and the list goes on.

Engine and Power

The model is powered by two engine options. There is a 2.0-litre petrol, which produces 245 bhp and 365 Nm of maximum torque. While the other has a 2.0-litre diesel unit, which produces a maximum of 201 bhp and 430 Nm. Both powerhouses are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with an all-wheel drive system
