Young fast bowler Mayank Yadav impressed on his IPL 2024 debut for Lucknow Supergiants, bowling the fastest delivery of the tournament this year. Mayank looked in good rhythm and in the 12th over of Kings XI Punjab he bowled at a speed of 155.8 kmph which put Shikhar Dhawan in trouble. The 21-year-old was bought by LSG for a base price of Rs 20 lakh in the 2022 auction, but was later replaced by Arpit Guleria due to injury. In his T20 career, he took 12 wickets in 10 games, while in his List A career, Mayank took 34 wickets in 17 games.

Mayank represented Delhi in the domestic circuit and despite taking two important wickets in the semi-finals of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023-2024, his team was defeated by Punjab beat.
