'What if I was carrying a nuclear bomb': Akash pilot arrested at Delhi airport

Two men were arrested by police on April 5 for allegedly claiming to be carrying a “nuclear bomb” during a search at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, officials said today.

They were identified as Jignesh Malani and Kashyap Kumar Lalani from Rajkot, Gujarat.

Passengers Jignesh Malan and Kashyap Kumar Lalani questioned the need for security checks and said they were boarding the Akasa Air flight, police said. Akasa Air) was inspected before the flight.

One of the passengers allegedly replied: “Aap kya karoge main Nuclear Bomb le jaa Raha hun? (What will you do if I carry a nuclear bomb?)”

Thereafter, passengers will not be allowed to board the aircraft to ensure the safety of all passengers and the aircraft.

Based on the complaint and subsequent investigation, a case was registered under Section 182 Section 505(1)(b) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
