Prince Harry faces calls to step down after new accusations

Prince Harry is said to be in trouble after fresh allegations of torture and abuse at an African charity.

The Duke of Sussex may be under pressure to resign from the charity’s board following a series of shocking new allegations and accusations.

Harry was reportedly promoted to the organization’s board of directors last year after six years as chairman of the charity.

An investigation by Dutch journalist Olivier van Beemen has revealed what goes on behind the scenes, claiming armed rangers use torture to extract information from poachers.

Van Beeman conducted the interviews as part of a three-year investigation into the organization, which receives British aid and funding from American billionaires and celebrities. His new book, titled Entrepreneurs in the Wild, details abuse by former and current staff at the African Parks charity.

A former ranger claims he and his colleagues beat suspected poachers by tying them up in the air, dangling them in the air, a brutal method known as “swinging.”

Meghan Markle, who takes up her new role in 2023, will be responsible for overseeing the charity’s policies and overseeing its management of 22 national parks, working with African governments.

The duke has come under criticism following fresh accusations that Africa Park bosses are said to have argued over whether Harry will still be a useful contact after leaving the royal family.

A source told Van Beeman they were concerned at the time of the royal exit whether the “controversy surrounding the prince” would pose a “risk” to the charity era.
