Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have been planning to move back to the UK, but their reputation there may have been holding them back.

Public relations expert Lynn Kalat said the duke and duchess had been warned they would have to win over public opinion if they wanted to return to royal life.

According to a recent Yougov poll, Harry and Meghan’s popularity in the UK has been at an all-time low, especially after Kate Middleton announced she had cancer.

Karat suggested the Sussexes could improve their image by speaking more openly about their struggles.

“To be more relatable to the British public, they can be more open about their daily struggles and present themselves as working parents facing the same challenges, and others will be there to help,” she told Mirror.

“We don’t need an image that’s constantly being polished.”

Karat said the new TV show “focuses on their passions rather than their royal past and could show a new side to the couple.”

The couple have also reportedly hired a new PR consultant who can advise on their PR strategy to cover the UK and US media landscape, making the couple attractive on both sides of the Atlantic Power, this will be useful.”
