Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has questioned the BCCI selectors for excluding Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Rinku Singh from the 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Rinku has been included in the traveling reserves for the tournament, but fans and experts believe that the batsman should have been a part of the main squad. This was KKR’s first win at the Wankhede ground in 12 years and seventh in 10 matches this season.

MI slipped to ninth place in the 10-team competition after their eighth defeat in 11 matches.

KKR are in second place and are well placed to make the play-offs.
