‘SNL’ Heidi Gardner reveals special gesture she made for Travis Kelce

Saturday night Live Heidi Gardner opened up about how Travis Kelce made sure she felt at home when she hosted the live sketch show.

The 40-year-old actress revealed during her appearance on TToday with Hoda and Jenna, That he bought the favorite snack for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34.

“I was very protective,” said Gardner, a Kansas City native. “I asked him questions that I was also interested in as a sports fan, but I said, ‘On game day, what do you eat?’ And he was like, ‘Uncrustables. I’m just beating the uncrustables.’

Gardner said she went to the store and bought Kelsey breakfast the day of the show.

“I was like, ‘I want this to feel as much like home as possible,'” she said.

Kelsey, who is currently dating Taylor Swift, thanked Gardner as she recalled the conversation they had just before the sketch.

“Just before the lights came on the scene he leaned over to me, and he said, ‘I’ve been eating Uncrustables all day.’ And I was like, ‘Cool,'” said Gardner, who added that he ultimately “won SNL” and “did such a great job.”

Kelce hosted the show in March this year.
