With the cricket season just around the corner, global travel technology company OYO is bringing an exclusive offer to its fans to enjoy 6,000 free stays at premium hotels such as SUNDAY Hotels, Palette Hotels and OYO Townhouses across India. OYO’s Free Stay League campaign invites cricket fans to take part in daily prediction challenges. In the ongoing T20 tournament, contestants who correctly predict the winner of each match will participate in daily draws. Every day, 100 individuals will be rewarded with a free stay at a premium OYO hotel of their choice, as well as Amazon vouchers worth up to Rs 5,000.

For every correct prediction, you will get OYO Rupees worth INR 100, which can be used for your next OYO booking.

The contestant with the most accurate predictions throughout the contest will win the grand prize – an iPhone 15.

As part of the campaign, OYO has launched a new ad film that humorously targets those who may be trying to leverage personal connections to get free stays. The characters in this light-hearted ad boast about their (fictitious) association with OYO founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal.

In one scene, one character claims their father convinced Ritesh to join the hit TV show Shark Tank as a judge, while another character hilariously fabricates a childhood friendship, saying they used to play cricket together as kids. The ad concludes by highlighting that only one’s cricket prediction skills, not their network, can unlock these incredible free stays during T20 tournaments.

“Cricket holds a special place in the hearts of millions of Indians. As the nation celebrates yet another exciting cricket season, we want to provide all cricket lovers with a little treat and share in the joy of the game. Our special offers Not only does it add excitement to the cricket match, but it also highlights our commitment to providing unique experiences to our guests.” – Ritesh Agarwal, Founder and Group CEO, OYO.

“Creating something special during one of the most watched cricket leagues in the world can be a bit tricky as all brands want to capitalize on this and capture the audience’s attention. With Free Stays League we knew we wanted to take it from Typical cricket advert and aimed at the common man. People never really say they got something for free but brag about getting it in different ways and this hit home for us. Following Shark Tank , there was a huge buzz around Ritesh “We knew we had to capitalize on Agarwal’s name. We are delighted that the OYO team shared our vision with us and supported us from start to finish. ” – said Nikhil Chaudhary, Founder and CEO, Blank The Agency.

As OYO continues to redefine hotel experiences in India, this cricket season offer once again proves the company’s commitment to creating unforgettable moments for its guests.
