Lee wrote on Instagram: “One week ago today I had a discectomy on my spine at L5/S1.

“The surgery went well, but my surgeon told me that my nerve was very stuck and it would take longer than expected to remove the bulging disc without damaging the nerve.

“He also told me that the condition was not going to get better on its own, so having surgery was the right decision,” he added.
