The year started with many popular brands deciding to launch their flagship products in markets including India. We’ve seen Samsung launch the Galaxy S24 series and the OnePlus 12 series has also been announced, but February’s launches are likely to be more intense as companies prepare for Mobile World Congress later next month.Based on what we’ve heard in reports, brands like Nothing, Xiaomi, and iQOO will be launching some products in the coming days, and here’s our roundup of the big ones expected to launch in February 2024

Large phone expected to launch in February 2024

No phone 2a

A new affordable phone called Phone 2a is rumored to be in development and is expected to be launched at MWC 2024 in the coming weeks. The Phone 2a is available in two colors: black and white.

The base model of the device will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and may be priced under €400, which translates to around Rs 37,000, but we expect the Phone 2a price in India may be closer to Rs 32,999. emission. The lower price range means the phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip and feature an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro

iQOO hopes to build on the early promises made when it launched the iQOO 12 in December. The new iQOO Neo 9 Pro has been confirmed to launch to Indian buyers in February and the most exciting news about the device is that you will get the device powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro could be another radical offering from the brand, which already has the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone in the country.

The device is expected to feature a large 6.78-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It will feature a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 920 as the primary sensor and another 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit. It is also expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. Additionally, it works with Android 14 out of the box.

Honor X9b 5G

Honor will expand its product lineup with the help of India’s Htech and launch the Honor X9b smartphone in February. The focus of the phone is the durable screen, which the brand claims is strong enough to withstand impacts and even being run over by a car. The phone’s online listing suggests you’ll get 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It could be the brand’s mid-range offering and we’ll get more details before launch.

Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra Commemorative Edition

Xiaomi launched the 14 series in China a few months ago and is expected to launch in India soon as well. But the brand is already looking to the future, launching the Mi 14 Ultra model, which may become part of its lineup at MWC 2024 in February. The highlight of the Ultra designation are the Leica-tuned and designed cameras that have demonstrated their capabilities globally with the 12S Ultra and last year’s 13 Ultra. We expect to see further advancements in camera technology from the brand and hopefully see a launch schedule in India.
