An interesting post on social media went viral after Mumbai Indians’ narrow victory over Kings XI Punjab on Thursday. In a screenshot of a post purportedly retweeted by Mumbai Indians player Mohammad Nabi, a person identified as ijaz.azizi07 wrote on his Instagram story: “@mumbaiindians the decisions taken by some of your captains are very strange, Surprised people! ? Nabi didn’t bowl today.”

Insta’s report added: “Chairman. Game-changer in a very important moment! Two catches, one run out.”

Mohammad Nabi, a veteran spin all-rounder from Afghanistan, has been invited by MI for the 2024 IPL auction. In the match against Kings XI Punjab, Nabi scored 0 runs. Although he didn’t bowl, he took catches from Ashutosh Sharma and Shashank Singh, two players who almost led PBKS to victory over MI. He was also involved in the run of Kagiso Rabada – the last wicket to fall.

However, social media said the Instagram Story post retweeted by Mohammad Nabi did not appear on his profile on Friday afternoon.
