Recently, Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie XO left in shock after their plane made an emergency landing on their way to the 2024 CMT Awards.

Jelly’s wife, Bunnie, revealed on TikTok on Thursday that they were already mid-flight when they learned their plane was having trouble.

“When your private jet just stops mid-air, turns around and says we have to make an emergency landing due to a malfunction,” she wrote in the short video.

She added in the caption: “CMT, I swear we are coming.”

After landing, the podcaster told fans, “We landed, but may have to get back on the same plane.”

The singer received three nominations: Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year.

Jelly points out, “Nobody wants to take cocaine sober, then you’re an addict. But I had to re-examine my relationship with alcohol.”

“I’ve never really had a drinking problem, so I’ll still have a cocktail, but very, especially this year, very rarely. Like, special nights and stuff,”

Jelly noted, “I was a horrible person for decades, and now I’m able to turn that around and put a message in music and help people.”

He added: “To give back as much as I can and in any way I can, it’s very indicative of where I come from and how important it is to me to always give back.”

Meanwhile, the CMT Awards will take place on Sunday, April 7.
