A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering an 86-year-old retired postmaster who was found dead in his bungalow 11 years ago.

Una Crown was found lying in a pool of blood and her clothes burned in a Wisbech corridor. cambridgeshire.

Her death in 2013 was initially treated as an accident after emergency personnel discovered her on Jan. 13 as family and neighbors feared for her safety.

A murder investigation was launched four days later.

Cambridgeshire Police said a 69-year-old man from Wisbech has been arrested on suspicion of Ms Crown’s murder.

Police said the suspect was arrested on Monday morning and remains in custody at Thorpewood Police Station in Peterborough.
