Dhoni’s six-wicket hat-trick proved crucial for Chennai Super Kings as the visitors beat Mumbai Indians by 20 runs. Scores by Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube provided the perfect platform for half-centuries before Dhoni provided the fireworks to take them past the 200-run mark.

In reply, Rohit Sharma slammed a gritty century but it was not enough as Mumbai Indians lost wickets at regular intervals and the five-time champions fell short of their target of 207 runs far away.
