Aimim Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Departs for Srinagar

All India Majlis-e-Itthel Muslimeen (IMIM) President Asadin Owasi is all set to visit Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.

Visuals showed him to leave his residence in New Delhi.

This is the first visit to the region of Owasi since the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, killing 26 people.

Earlier on Sunday, the AIMIM leader strongly condemned Pakistan’s continuous refusal of cross -border terrorism, and said that the time of dialogue has passed and a firm response is now necessary.

He said, “Pakistan will never accept that their soil is infiltrating terrorists in India and taking innocent life. The reason for the reason with Pakistan is now over. It’s time to respond. I say it with full responsibility,” he told ANI.

Owaisi specifically expressed concern over recurring terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, where soldiers and citizens have been equally targeted.

“Every two to six months, we lose army, CRPF personnel or innocent Kashmiris. This cycle cannot continue.”

Announcing the support of his party to the central government’s response, the AIMIM leader said, “The AIMIM party supports all the decisions taken by the Government of India. This is the issue of the country, the political issue is barber.

Owasi called Pakistan a “unsuccessful state” and urged the Indian government to ‘strong’ and take decisive action against terrorists to support terrorism.

Addressing a public meeting, Owaisi said, “We hope that Prime Minister will take strong action against Pakistani terrorists and Pakistan’s unsuccessful state that it will think a hundred times before sending anyone to harm India to harm India.”

Referring to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, Owissi shared an individual story to highlight the pain caused by cross -border terrorism.

“26/11 attacks occurred. I know there is a place called Nizamabad in Telangana. One of our daughters got married a few days ago, and she was with her family at the VT station when Pakistani terrorists set fire to fire. He was also killed,” he said.

He accused Pakistan of constantly denying his role in such attacks.
