Vikrant Massey’s recently released film 12th Fail has become the talk of the town. He really won everyone’s recognition with his performance. The actor has definitely created a special place in the hearts of viewers. Well, in a recent interview, he opened up about a lot of things. Vikrant praised Farhan Akhtar’s work ethic and recalled working with him in “Dil Dhadakne Do”.

In Samdish’s conversation with Unfiltered, “I would like to take Farhan Akhtar as an example. I’m really inspired by him. What doesn’t he have in his life? He’s Javed Akhtar’s son. On the sets of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, He’s an actor and a producer, and his sister Zoya Akhtar is making the movie, but when he comes to rehearsal, he never has a script in his hand. In the same conversation, Vikrant revealed a film about which not many people know about. He revealed that they almost collaborated on a film. “So, Vishal sir (Vishal Bhardwaj) is making a film called Sapna Didi. In it, Deepika (Padukone) and Irrfan Saab are also there and I have a peripheral role, so And I got cast. So, Deepika and I did a look test and he played the lead role. We were supposed to meet the next day, but when I woke up and opened my eyes, the news had come out that he had cancer. Everything stopped,” the actor said.

The film is about 12th Fail and tells the life story of Manoj Kumar Sharma. Sharma overcame severe poverty to eventually rise to the rank of police officer in the Indian Police Service. The film sheds light on his journey, highlighting the crucial role played by his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, in his success.

Vikrant Massey will now star in an untitled web series produced by Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba and Rajkumar Hirani. On the personal front, after two years of happy marriage, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur have become doting parents to their son. On February 7 this year, they welcomed their first child.
