BLACKPINK star Jennie looks chic in black mini dress at weekend birthday party

Jennie, a member of Korean girl group BLACKPINK, was recently spotted having a great time at The Weeknd’s birthday party in Los Angeles. The Canadian singer-songwriter celebrated her birthday on February 16 at the Los Angeles Theater. Jenny was one of many celebrities invited to the celebrations. Her friendship with The Weeknd began in 2023 when the two starred in the HBO limited series “Idol.” Jennie and The Weeknd’s friendship seems to have grown stronger over the year as the You and Me singer joined in on the festivities for The Weeknd’s special day. But Jennie’s sophisticated outfit at the party caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans.

Although Jennie didn’t share any photos, Tohme Jewelery founder Mimi Tohme posted a series of photos from the night on Instagram featuring the SOLO singer. Jennie’s fans were quick to praise her OOTN. In one of the photos, Mimi and Jenny were photographed taking a selfie in the mirror. The two wore all-black suits and embraced each other warmly. Jennie donned a luxe sheer mini dress with long sleeves and a pleated pattern. She wore minimal glam makeup, diamond jewelry and a loose ponytail. Mimi wore a halter neck black gown.

As soon as the post hit the internet, social media users flooded the comments with comments expressing their joy at seeing Jennie slay in the chic girly look. “Jenny is the sexiest woman in the world. She is so beautiful,” one person wrote. “Jennie needs to post this fitted outfit on her Instagram,” one fan claimed of her outfit. “Thank you for sharing this photo with Jennie,” read another comment. Some invisible clicks are also going viral on the X platform.

Jennie played the role of a duplicitous backup dancer, Dyanne, on “Idol” who does whatever it takes to get to the top. Although this was her debut, her acting skills in the play left a deep impression on the audience. “Idol” was created by The Weeknd and co-directed by “Euphoria” stars Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim. The cast includes Troye Sivan, Dan Levy, Lily-Rose Depp and Hari Nef, among others. Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, also known as “The Weeknd,” plays the role of charismatic cult leader Tedros.

On the work front, Jennie launched her own brand OA after renewing her contract with BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment last year. The company’s purpose has not been announced.
