Two SUVs with the same number were found in Delhi's high-security zone and a case has been filed

Police said the vehicles were registered in the name of a resident of Faridabad (representative)

New Delhi:

In a major security breach, police said two SUVs with the same license plate numbers were found parked in the heavily guarded Tughlaq Road area.

According to Delhi Police, the vehicles were flagged by a security guard of the VIP, who alerted the police.

The incident occurred on the evening of March 18.

The police have filed an FIR under sections 482 (using false mark of property) and 471 (using forged document as genuine) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Police said the vehicles were registered in the name of a Faridabad resident and the license plate number of one of the SUVs was genuine and copied from another vehicle.

Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
