The viral video is believed to be from the match against SRH where a young fan can be seen jumping on his seat to cheer GT. He was so excited that he took off his T-shirt and threw it away while dancing.
Netizens were quick to compare his celebration to a viral meme from a football match, where a fan could be seen dancing in excitement while cheering for his team.

Talking about the match, veteran Mohit Sharma showed his best deception with brilliant figures of 3/25 in the final over while Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan Khan and Noor Ahmad dominated the middle overs while GT restricted a predatory SRH to a modest 162/8 after Pat Cummins chose to bat.
