Prince William shares major wedding vows with Kate Middleton

Prince William is making sure the vow he made to his wife Kate Middleton 13 years ago is being kept.

The Prince and Princess of Wales remain a “strong couple” following Kate’s shock cancer announcement at the end of March, according to former BBC royal correspondent Jenny Bond.

Bond said amazing William is “stubborn” when it comes to his family and he has “never been more protective of his wife and children than he is now.”

William and Kate have three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6.

“They both may have considered those marriage vows, particularly the words ‘in sickness and in health,'” Bond explained. “It’s often difficult times that make a marriage stronger.

She added, “He is taking special care to prioritize their health and the well-being of his young family, even despite some people saying he should do more public work.”

Bond also explained that William “can be stubborn, and perhaps never more so than when it comes to his family and their privacy,” adding that he is “completely focused on her well-being.”

“I think it’s a great tribute to Katherine and her love,” he said. “He never would have imagined he would be celebrating this anniversary with Katherine in the middle of chemotherapy.”

As for their anniversary celebration on Monday, Bond said it’s “worth celebrating,” sharing that William will be “making an even bigger fuss of his wife — in a low-key way — than ever before.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales are understood to be celebrating their wedding anniversary privately.
