Thalapathy Vijay is currently making headlines for his upcoming film The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Venkat Prabhu has written and directed the film. Vijay fans have been waiting for this movie for a long time. Among these developments is an important update related to one of the all-time greats.

Venkat is reportedly planning to wrap up the shooting of the film by the end of April. As of now, one of the schedules of the film has been confirmed in Puducherry. According to reports, they are currently shooting for the film’s brief schedule in Chennai. Once filming is complete, they will travel to Sri Lanka to complete other scenes for The Greatest of All Time.

Vijay’s fans were in for a surprise when they learned that Goat was shot in Pondicherry. A large number of his fans thronged Pondicherry just to catch a glimpse of him. However, Vijay did not participate in the shooting that day, which disappointed fans. According to reports, they waited for more than two hours to meet Vijay.

Yogi Babu, Jayaram, Prabhu Deva, Laila and others will also star in The Greatest of All Time. AGS Entertainment has backed the film.

Apart from films, Thalapathy Vijay is in the limelight for his future political career. He recently formed his own political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, and plans to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Vijay also confirmed in a statement that he will not contest in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Vijay said he will leave the film industry after completing two films to become a full-fledged politician. His foray into Tamil Nadu politics will mark another high-profile foray into the film industry after the likes of Kamal Haasan, MG Ramachandran, Shivaji Ganesan and others.

Currently, Vijay is at the peak of his career and according to India Today, he earns Rs 125 crore per film. His last film “Leo” also performed well at the box office, taking over Rs 600 crore at the global box office. Lokesh Kanagaraj has directed the film, which also stars Anurag Kashyap and Sanjay Dutt. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
