Amitabh, Jaya Bachchan’s huge net worth: 17 cars, jewelery of Rs 95.74 cr, bank balance of Rs 130 cr

Jaya Bachchan was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Ra ni Kii Prem Kahaani), she and her husband, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, announced assets worth Rs 1,578 crore. Jaya is all set to serve as a member of the Lok Sabha for the fifth time after the Samajwadi Party re-nominated her as its candidate in Uttar Pradesh.

As per the election affidavit filed by the actress, her personal net worth was Rs 163 crore in the financial year 2022-23, while Amitabh’s net worth was Rs 273.74 crore in the same year, Mid-day.com reported.

According to the affidavit, Jaya’s bank balance is Rs 1,011 crore while Amitabh’s bank balance is Rs 1,204.5 crore. Another report in the Times of India said Jaya owns jewelery worth Rs 4,097 crore and cars worth Rs 9.82 lakh. Amitabh, on the other hand, owns jewelery worth Rs 5,477 crore and 16 cars, including two Mercedes Benz and a Range Rover.

Last year, Amitabh gifted his iconic ‘Prateeksha’ bungalow to Shweta Bachchan Nanda. A report by Moneycontrol stated that the property covering two plots of 890.47 sq m and 674 sq m was handed over to Shweta Bachchan through a gift deed on November 8, 2023. In addition, it was found that the transaction also included stamp duty of Rs 50.65 million through Zapki. Moreover, this flat was jointly donated by Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan and the recipient of Vithal Nagar Cooperative Housing Society Ltd is Shweta Nanda.

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Ganapath and had a cameo in Gummer, played by his son Abhishek Bachchan. He will next be seen in 2898AD along with Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Disha Patani. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and is expected to release this year.
