King Charles responds to Prince Harry’s polite request, doesn’t care about busy schedule

As the Duke prepares to return to the UK, King Charles expresses his desire to meet his young son, Prince Harry.

Reports suggest that Prince Harry has contacted his father King Charles to see if the monarch would be willing to meet him during his upcoming visit as a gesture of reconciliation.

Prince Harry is to attend a special service at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a sporting competition for ex-servicemen which he founded in 2014.

It has been reported that no senior royal members will be present at the important anniversary event with Prince Harry.

However, Prince Harry has contacted his father and requested a meeting while he is in the country.

The last time Prince Harry met King Charles was shortly after the monarch’s cancer diagnosis when Charles began regular treatment.

Due to the sudden nature of the visit, Charles was only able to spend less than an hour with his young son in London before returning to Sandringham to rest.

Sources have claimed that when Prince Harry contacted his father and asked to meet, King Charles gave a simple four-word response to the request, saying that ‘if he is able’ he would definitely do so.

A source said, “Harry has maintained regular contact with his father on several occasions and has made no secret of his desire to meet him whenever possible.” “He is particularly worried about her and hopes the King will recover and be able to see her as planned.”

Initially, after beginning treatment for his cancer, Charles’s medical team advised that he hold off on “public-facing engagements”, although the king was able to conduct state business behind closed doors.
