Ashwin led the England batsmen by taking 9 wickets in the fifth Test in Dharamshala, producing one of his best performances for the Whites. Post-match, India legend Sunil Gavaskar interviewed Ashwin and spoke about the way he continues to confuse batsmen even at this stage of his career.

Gavaskar also reminded Ashwin of comments made by England star Joe Root, who explained before the match why the best batsman in the world found it difficult to deal with Ashwin.
