‘Stop oil’ protesters display posters and letters at Labor Party headquarters in Exeter

‘Just Stop Oil’ protesters plastered posters at Labor Party headquarters in Exeter on Monday 25 March.

Two supporters of the group posted posters in the building along with a printout of a letter sent to parliamentary candidate Steve Race last week.

The letter asks him to commit to leaving the party within six months of forming government if the Conservatives fail to revoke oil licenses awarded since 2021.

Mr Reis responded but refused to follow through on the promise, according to a statement from Just Stop Oil.

Police arrived at the scene Monday and spoke with protesters but made no arrests.
