Indian school topper responds to trolls over her facial hair

When board exam results came out in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, topper Prachi Nigam predicted it would be a celebratory event.

She was flooded with abuse online when her photo was posted on X, along with hurtful comments about her facial hair, ruining the teen’s happy moments.

Many condemned the abuse on social media, pointing out the double standards young women and girls live with.
