Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shahrukh Khan was happy on Monday as his team defeated Delhi Capitals to clinch the second position in the IPL 2024 points table. After the match, Shahrukh Khan gave a pleasant surprise to Delhi Capitals’ cricket director Sourav Ganguly. Former India captain Ganguly is also the former captain of KKR. Shahrukh hugged Ganguly from behind and what happened next looked like a very happy meeting of two friends. There was a brief conversation between them. During his recent visit to Kolkata, Shahrukh was accompanied by his son Abram Khan.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has heaped praise on stylish Indian batsman Virat Kohli, saying, “I just love him”. Talking about his relationship with Kohli, Shahrukh said, ‘I spent a lot of time with him, I love him. We say that he is our son-in-law, he is the ‘son-in-law’ of our community. I know him the most compared to other players. I have known Virat and Anushka for a long time and have spent a lot of time with them.

“I know them since their dating period was going on and I was shooting the film with Anushka. So, he spent several days with us and became very friendly,” the KKR co-owner told Star Sports.

Shahrukh has worked with Virat’s wife and actress Anushka Sharma in many films like ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. He also attended her wedding in 2017. But it’s not just on-screen magic that binds these two; Their off-screen interactions are equally mesmerizing.

“So, I taught her the dance steps of the title song of the film Pathan. I saw him in an India match, he tried to dance with Ravindra Jadeja in the match. They were trying to do that dance step, I was so sad that they were doing it so badly! I told him let me teach you the steps so that whenever you dance in the next World Cup and other championships, you will at least call me and ask how to do the steps,” SRK said.
