See Taylor Swift Signs for Boyfriend Travis Kelce in Her Alchemy

in the penultimate track alchemy from her new album tortured poets departmentPop queen Taylor Swift, 34, sings about unquestionable love; however, some of the lyrics to the ballad have sparked controversy.

Swift, who is now dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, references football and other sports throughout the song.

“So when I land/Call the amateurs and cut them off the team/Ditch the clown, get the crown/Baby, I’m the one to beat,” she sings.

Swift continued to sing about her ex-boyfriend, so it wasn’t clear who she was talking about.

“Cause the sign on your heart says it’s still reserved for me/Truth be told, who are we to fight alchemy.”

The Grammy winner dropped another sports allusion later in the song. Swift sang, “These guys warmed the bench/We’ve been on a winning streak,” apparently using a term often used in the UK.

According to some fans, the next line may be a reference to her ex-boyfriend Matty Healy, who has previously been transparent about his battle with heroin use.

“He joked it was heroin, but with an ‘e’ this time,” she sings.

Then on the bridge, the singer sang: “Where’s the trophy? Here he comes, runs over me.”

The superstar has been dating the athlete since Kelce was revealed on the podcast last year when he went to Swift’s Eras Tour show and tried, but failed, to meet her.

“We started hanging out after that. So we actually spent a lot of time that no one knew about, which I’m grateful for because we got to know each other,” Swift told Time in a December cover story Magazine.
