“Bowling to these legends feels normal”: PBKS spinner Harpreet Brar

Punjab Kings left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar talked about the areas he tries to target while bowling against some of the best batsmen of the tournament in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. After saves from CSK openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ajinkya Rahane, PBKS bowler Harpreet bowled the ninth over in the powerplay and changed the course of the game in two balls. Ruturaj Gaikwad led from the front and scored 62 off 48 balls and MS Dhoni provided the finishing touches in the final overs to take CSK to an unexpected score of 162/7.

In reply, PBKS batsmen didn’t have to break a sweat in chasing 163 runs. Jonny Bairstow and Riley Rossouw put the momentum completely in their favor with a partnership of 64 runs.

Curran and Shashank Singh put the finishing touches to give PBKS a 7-wicket win.
