Mr. Vaidya said that they are now offering a 3-day ‘Prarambhik Varg’ program to the new Sangh workers.

Nagpur:

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has made changes in the content and name of its annual training program and the revisions will be implemented from this year, RSS joint general secretary Manmohan Vaidya said today.

He was addressing a press conference at the annual ‘Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’ conclave of the Sangh in Nagpur today.

Mr. Vaidya said there are slight changes in their 7 days ‘Prathamik Shiksha Varg’, 20 days ‘Sangh Shiksha Varg-Pratham Varsh’, 20 days ‘Sangh Shiksha Varg-Dvitya Varsh’ and 25 days ‘Sangh Shiksha Varg’.- Tritiya Varsh’ training program.

Mr. Vaidya said that they are now offering a 3-day ‘Prarambhik Varg’ program to the new Sangh workers.

The new recruits will then participate in the ‘Pratamik Shiksha Varg’, followed by the 15-day ‘Sangh Shiksha Varg’, earlier known as ‘Sangh Shiksha Varg-Pratham Varsh’, which lasts for 20 days.

Mr. Vaidya said that a large number of young people are participating in Sangh training programmes. He said that 15,000 to 17,000 young people participate in ‘Pratham Shiksha Varg’ (Pratham Varsh class) every year and around 100,000 people participate in ‘Prathamik Shiksha Varg’.

“From now on, the ‘Sangh Shiksha Varg’ (Pratham Varsh) will continue for 15 days,” Mr. Vaidya said.

The RSS chief said that the earlier training classes of ‘Dvitya Varsha’ and ‘Tritya Varsh’ will now be called ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg-1’ and ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg-2’ respectively.

Mr. Vaidya said that some adjustments have been made to the content of the ‘Tritya Varsh’ course by taking the students to the field for 5 days of behavioral training.

“The new syllabus and terminology will be implemented from this year,” he said.

Asked whether the upcoming Lok Sabha elections would be discussed during the RSS conclave, Vaidya said the Sangh was always working for maximum voting rights and RSS workers would also create awareness among citizens to exercise their right to vote.
