There’s one thing Meghan Markle should never forget about King Charles

Meghan Markle received a rare honor from King Charles, who was a prince at the time, before stepping down from royal duties, a royal expert has claimed.

Figuring out where it all went “so horribly wrong” for the Duchess of Sussex, Cole admitted it’s been “really hard” to piece it all together.

He touched on Meghan’s poor relationship with her family and the fact that her father, Thomas, is “estranged” from her.

“It’s really hard to puzzle out where it all went so horribly wrong,” he said on GBN America.

“He could not have been more welcomed into this country or the royal family.

“It was a rare honor when the King offered to walk her down the aisle because her own father, Thomas, like most of her family, was estranged from him.

“It was a great honour, and the late Queen made every effort to befriend her mother Doria.”

Since stepping down from royal duties and leaving for the US in 2020, Meghan has had little presence in the UK.

The duchess has long criticized his royal behavior and Harry made his doubts clear in his memoir, Spare, where he blamed Prince William and Princess Kate for Meghan’s apparent cold reception.

Meanwhile Prince Harry is preparing to return to the UK for an important celebration next week.

The visit marks Harry’s return to action to mark 10 years of the Invictus Games, and comes after Kate emotionally announced in a video message to the nation that she had been diagnosed with cancer and had begun preventative chemotherapy. This will be his first visit to Britain.
