Rishi Sunak has defended Britain’s decision not to suspend arms sales to Israel.

Mr Sunak has been facing growing pressure, including from within his own party, to immediately suspend arms sales amid growing opposition to the number of civilians killed.

Appearing on LBC’s live call on Wednesday (April 10), the Prime Minister defended his decision, saying “none of our closest allies” had stopped existing export licenses.

Mr Sunak told host Nick Ferrari that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “needs to do more” to alleviate suffering in Gaza.
