India and Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Wednesday made a funny request to billionaire and X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk. Chahal asked Musk to impose a copyright strike on Punjab Kings fast bowler Harshal Patel after Harshal celebrated a catch virally during a Chennai Super Kings game. After completing the catch, Harshal celebrated in a manner which is related to Chahal’s viral meme. Sharing a picture of Harshal’s celebration, Chahal wrote on Instagram, “Dear @elonmusk paaji, copyright has to be imposed on Harshal bhai.”

Chahal’s post named in India’s T20 World Cup squad, announced on April 30, went viral on social media.

Talking about celebrations, Kagiso Rabada bowled a short ball outside the off stump to Sameer Rizvi, who tried to play an upper cut on it. The ball did not go past third man where Harshal slid at the right time to take the catch.

Punjab Kings kept their slim playoff hopes alive by defeating Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 163, PBKS reached home in 17.5 overs thanks to Jonny Bairstow’s 46 runs off 30 balls and Riley Rossouw’s 43 runs off 23 balls.

Earlier, Ruturaj Gaikwad (62 off 48) scored a fighting half-century, helping CSK post 162 for 7 in 20 overs when invited to bat first. Rahul Chahar (2 wickets for 16 runs in four overs) and Harpreet Brar (2 wickets for 17 runs in four overs) were the best bowlers for PBKS. Brar was later named player of the match.

“It was a good wicket to bowl on and even Rahul (Chahar) bowled really well. I have been playing for 6 years, so my confidence is quite high. Now bowling to these legends of the game Seems normal, I just bowl. To be honest, I don’t think about wickets, my aim is just to bowl a lot of dot balls and dot balls make wickets, when there is spin in the wicket, the bowler’s confidence increases. And it helps a little bit,” Barr said after the game.
