The video surfaced online last week. According to the caption of the post, the incident happened on Kaifiyat Express. The clip shows a train passenger breaking the glass door to enter the coach. In this, the third AC of the train is seen packed, with passengers standing in the vestibule area of the coach. There is no room to move, which is probably why the door could not be opened.
People are seen running on the platform and trying to board their coaches. Suddenly, a man notices a crack in the glass and asks a man sitting near the door to move. As the glass shatters, both cover their faces and a man standing on the stage is heard shouting at them to open the door.

They reply that the train is crowded and there is no space, but the man refuses to listen to them and breaks what remains of the glass. After this the people in the vestibule area move quickly. The video ends abruptly and it is not known whether the man was able to board the train or not. The post said the man had confirmed his ticket and wanted to enter the train.
The video garnered a lot of comments, with users criticizing overcrowding in trains and claiming that “the condition of the railways has worsened”. At that time, Northern Railway also reacted to the video asking the RPF to look into the matter. RPF Delhi Division replied that they informed the Inspector in Ghaziabad.
