Property of activists working with LeT in Budgam, JK

The property of a militant working with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was seized in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday and used to deliberately shelter and harbor terrorists, police said.

Police have sealed the house of terrorist associate Mohammad Ramzan Mir, a resident of Rudbugh Magam area in central Kashmir, an official said.

He added that Mir was a terror associate or an above ground worker (OGW) of the banned terror organization LeT.

The official said that during the investigation of the case registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Arms Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, it was noticed that the property was acquired as proceeds of terrorism of. Section 2(g) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
