Princess Anne succeeds King Charles, palace shares photos

Princess Anne, who has represented King Charles on several occasions since he was diagnosed with cancer, once again represented the monarch in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

The eldest princess honored distinguished individuals at investiture ceremonies at the palace and Windsor Castle this week.

The royal family’s social media accounts shared a photo of the hard-working royal on Friday, congratulating everyone who received the honour.

The palace also shared a list of winners, which includes:

-Diana Parkes CBE, for services to disadvantaged children.

——Paul Hollywood Medal of the Order of the British Empire for Services to Broadcasting

-Dame Felicity Dahl DBE, for services to charity, literature and young people.

– Rhiane Fatinikun MBE, for services to nature and diversity.

The latest post comes just hours after Prince William attended a memorial service for Major Mike Sadler, the last of the wartime SAS ‘originals’. Sadler, who relied on the stars to navigate the deserts of North Africa, died in January at the age of 103.
