Meghan Markle urges Prince Harry to reconnect with William, Kate

Prince Harry is due to return to the UK in May and his wife Meghan Markle has encouraged contact with Prince William and Kate.

Despite the rift in the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex genuinely cares about her sister-in-law who has cancer and believes it would be best if Harry took the first step, royal author Tom Quinn reports choose Mirror.

“Meghan encouraged Harry to reach out to his family, in part because she would genuinely sympathize with Kate and William, despite their past difficulties,” the author told the outlet.

However, Quinn noted that the Duchess was aware that if she reached out or gave any hint that she was holding Harry back, her intentions could be misconstrued.

“She also knew how bad it would look if someone thought she wasn’t compassionate and didn’t encourage Harry to reach out,” Quinn said.

The Sussexes and Welsh families have been embroiled in an ongoing feud that appears to have originated when Meghan married into the royal family in 2018.

The rift between Harry and Meghan deepened when they moved to the United States in 2020 after resigning from senior royal duties.

However, there is a possibility of a thaw in relations after Harry and Meghan sent their best wishes to Kate after she announced she had suffered a shocking cancer diagnosis on Friday.

According to the outlet, there are also rumors that Prince William and Prince Harry will arrange a brief meeting. It remains to be seen whether the cracks will begin to heal after this.
