Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with children honored with the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award this year and shared his insights on music, culture, solar energy and sports.

On Monday, 19 children – nine boys and 10 girls – from 18 states and union territories were given the award for extraordinary bravery, artistic skill, innovative thinking and selfless service.

During the interaction at his 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence, Prime Minister Modi interacted candidly with the award winners and also presented mementos to each of them, according to an official statement.

The children shared details of their achievements due to which they were selected for the prestigious award.

The statement said a wide range of topics including music, culture, solar energy and sports like badminton and chess were discussed between him and the Prime Minister.

It said that children also took advantage of the opportunity to ask questions to Prime Minister Modi, creating an interactive and inspiring environment.

Responding to a question, the Prime Minister shared his passion for music and how it helps him meditate.

The statement said that when asked about the recently launched Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana, he recalled his initiative to use solar energy during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and how the scheme would benefit people. Told about the benefits.

It said that on this occasion the Prime Minister told the youth about ‘Parakram Diwas’ and how the government is honoring the legacy of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Each Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award winner receives a medal, a certificate and a citation booklet as evidence of their outstanding contributions in their respective fields.
