Nothing Phone 2a was launched in India on March 5 and went on sale in the country on March 12. The phone is available in three RAM and storage configurations and two color options. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity octa-core chipset and comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports wired fast charging. The phone runs Android 14-based NothingOS 2.5 out of the box. Newly launched mid-range smartphones have started receiving OS upgrades with several improvements.

With this update, Nothing Phone 2a also gets a new voice recorder widget. It also purportedly fixes bugs related to the fingerprint unlock feature as well as more general bugs. It is also said to improve the overall performance of the phone, including the touch screen experience, memory usage strategy, vibration effects and charging adapter compatibility.

Nothing Phone 2a price in India starts at Rs. The base 8GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs 23,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations are priced at Rs. 25,999 and Rs.27,999 respectively. It is available in black and white color options.

Nothing Phone 2a features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,412 pixels) AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, dual 50MP rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery (45W wired) with fast charging support. The phone features a redesigned glyph interface and a transparent back panel with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating.
