CMF Phone 1 could be much cheaper than Nothing Phone 2A

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is preparing to launch its first smartphone. No details about the device are official at the moment, but a new leak reveals the name, price, and specifications of the handset. The upcoming phone from CMF Buy Nothing will reportedly be called the CMF Phone 1. It is said to have a plastic body and can be offered in three color options. The CMF Phone 1 is expected to be an affordable entry-level phone and may be cheaper than the Nothing Phone 2A.

according to a report By 91Mobiles, the new smartphone from CMF called CMF Phone 1 is priced at around Rs. 12,000 in India. This means that the alleged handset will be significantly cheaper than all the phones currently available by Nothing. The company’s most affordable handset, the latest Phone 2a, is priced at Rs. 23,999. The Nothing Phone 2 was unveiled with a Rs. 44,999 price.

Like other entry-level phones available in the market, the CMF Phone 1 will reportedly have a plastic body. There may be Gorilla Glass protection on the front of the phone. It is said to be available in black, orange and white colours.

CMF’s Phone 1 is expected to have a 6.5-inch screen and run on Nothing OS with limited features. CMF is expected to provide three years of operating system upgrades and four years of security updates for the phone. It is likely to run on MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset and have a single rear camera. It is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support.

The alleged CMF Phone 1 was first spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with model number A015. However, CMF has not yet confirmed the moniker or its launch plans. So it is recommended to take the above details with a pinch of salt.
