In Pakistan, wearing hijab is not compulsory by law. The woman accused the man of touching her without permission, calling it a “big sin”.

She then went on to tell the man that he could be arrested for this and immediately returned the hood to him. Some passers-by also defended the woman, saying wearing a head covering was her personal choice.

The video sparked a backlash, with people praising the woman for fighting back.
