Nick Cannon and Abby De La Rosa recently opened up about their two-year-old son, Zillion, being diagnosed with autism.

On Tuesday, Nick and Abby shared a joint post on Instagram announcing that their son had been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder on World Autism Awareness Day.

They wrote in the caption: “Today our family celebrates World Autism Awareness Day, which means so much to us because our wonderful 2-year-old Zillion was recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.”

Parents mention, “Our beautiful boy experiences life in 4D and teaches us something new every day! His love, strength, and talent light up every room he enters!”

“We are so blessed that God placed such an amazing soul in our custody and we have embraced the task wholeheartedly!” they said.

Finally, they added: “This World Autism Awareness Day, we reach out to families around the world to acknowledge shared challenges and advocate for understanding. Together, let us create a world of inclusion and compassion.”

For those who don’t know, Nick and Abby have twins, Zion and Zillion, and a daughter, Beautiful.

Earlier, Abby spoke about autism, and she revealed that last year “has been the most challenging year of my life.”

“Continuously advocating and fighting for answers while working and striving to be the best mother, friend and partner you can be,” she said.

Meanwhile, Abby revealed that after Zillion’s diagnosis, the family changed their Easter plans to accommodate their son’s sensory needs.
