The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion also appeared online recently. Now, a report claims that all three alleged models are likely to be unveiled together globally. The report shares design renders, color options, and some key features of the rumored Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.

It added that the phone will be launched as Moto X50 Ultra in select markets. It is worth noting that the Moto X50 Ultra has been officially previewed in China and is expected to be launched soon.
A leaked design render of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra shows the date “April 3” on the lock screen. An earlier leak about the Edge 50 Pro model also showed the same date, suggesting this could be the launch date. Soon after, the company plans to launch the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India on April 3. Reports suggest that the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is likely to launch alongside the Pro model, and the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion may follow it.
In the leaked renders, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra looks similar to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. The black and peach versions of this model feature a faux leather back panel, and the raised rectangular rear camera module has a glossy finish. The beige option, on the other hand, comes with a textured back panel and the rear camera bump rises seamlessly instead of being a separate island.
At the back, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s rear camera island is located in the upper left corner of the rear panel and can be seen housing three camera sensors and a pill-shaped LED flash. The report suggests that the camera setup will include a 50-megapixel sensor that includes a 75mm periscope lens that is said to offer 5x optical zoom. It is also expected to support laser autofocus.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also features a curved OLED display with a centered punch-hole slot at the top to accommodate the front-facing camera sensor. The power button and two separate volume buttons sit on the right edge, while the bottom edge appears to house the SIM card tray, USB Type-C port, microphone, and speaker.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is expected to boot Android 14-based Hello UI out of the box. This is Motorola’s new user interface, which will likely accompany three years of operating system upgrades. The report adds that this model may be priced around $999 (approximately Rs. 83,300).
