Motorola Edge 50 Fusion design, specifications leaked online

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC was launched in September 2022. Now, its alleged successor, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, is reportedly on its way to being launched, with renders and specifications leaked online. It is expected to be officially launched on April 3 along with the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Going by the leaked information, the upcoming phone may come in three colors and a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main camera. It is said to run on Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

Android headlines shared It is said to be a rendering of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. The renders show the Motorola phone coming in Folk Blue, Peacock Pink, and Tidal Cyan shades, with a punch-hole cutout on the display for the selfie camera. It has minimal bezels on the sides and is more noticeable at the top and bottom. The dual camera setup appears to be located on the top left corner of its rear panel, alongside an LED flash. Additionally, the power and volume buttons can be seen on the left spine of the phone. The volume buttons also function as a fingerprint scanner.

In addition to the renders, media reports also include some details about the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. It is said to feature a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display and use Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

According to reports, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary camera. It is also said to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone may be equipped with a 5000mAh battery and support 68W wired fast charging. It is said to be IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

Motorola will launch the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India on April 3, and the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is also expected to hit the country on the same day. A launch in Europe and North America is likely to follow shortly thereafter.
