King Charles and Queen Camilla’s anniversary plans affected by monarch’s cancer

King Charles and Queen Camilla will celebrate a rather quiet wedding anniversary after battling cancer.

On April 9, 2005, the royal couple celebrated their 19th anniversary by exchanging vows in an intimate ceremony after years of love and longing.

talking OK! Magazine, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond revealed their potential plans for the day.

“I think they’ll spend the day quietly together, partly because they’re not good at parties, partly because he’s sick but also because I think the date is always quite poignant because Prince Philip died in April 9th,” she revealed.

“I suspect they exchanged cards and maybe gifts and maybe went for a walk if they could and maybe had a romantic dinner,” Bond continued.

“But a lot will depend on how the king feels and how much his cancer treatment affects his stamina and appetite.”

Rest assured, their love shouldn’t be measured by how they choose to spend their big day together; the royal commentator doubled down on the couple’s utmost devotion to each other, no matter what disasters they encounter.

“They are infatuated with each other and belong together, but may feel pain in their separation. It’s a long and complicated love story…but it’s definitely a love story,” Jenny shared.
