Kansas City Super Bowl victory parade shooting: 21 injured, motive unknown | N18V | News18 At least one person was killed and 21 injured in a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, where the NFL championship team was visiting Celebrating a Super Bowl victory. Police Chief Stacey Graves said at a news conference that three people were “detained and under investigation in connection with today’s incident” outside the city’s Union Station. Graves said investigators don’t yet know the motive for the gun violence. At a news conference late in the afternoon, Fire Chief Ross Grundyson said 15 of the injured had life-threatening injuries. Graves said she was aware of reports that some fans may have been involved in the hunt for at least one suspect. Approximately 800 law enforcement officials participated in previous rallies and marches, including agents from the FBI and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Hours after the bloodshed, authorities were still tallying the exact number of casualties and details.
